Future Dolls-I need YOUR help!

Hey girls,
Well, I'm planning on getting one or two more dolls, then I'm done collecting dolls (I think I already have enough).  But I have a dilemma.  I can't decide between 3 dolls.  I will share the dolls, their names, personalities and my opinions on them.
First there is MAG 35, aka Cameron Smith.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MAG 35!  I also have no orange-haired dolls (Saige has auburn hair), so Cameron would be a good add to my collection.  Cameron is going to be a tomboy, a daredevil and confident.  I think she's simply adorable!

Secondly, there is Cécile Rey.  I think an African-American doll would complete my collection–since I do not have any AA (African-American) dolls.  I love her dress and curls, and her mold is sooo cute. She would be a drama queen and Mal's BFF, a bit snobby but a great singer.

And lastly, there is Ivy Ling.  I do not have any Asian dolls, so Ivy would also be an amazing add.  She would be sweet, a gymnast, down-to-earth, nature-lover and she loves trying new things.
Which dolls do YOU think I should get? Please leave a comment! :)

Bonjour, my adoring fans!  Oui, it's me--Mallory!  And it's time for another one of my amazing fashion posts, this time it shall be about WINTER FASHION!!!  As you know, winter is the time for Northface jackets, Uggs, and scarves--but what about for AG Dolls?

This outfit is simply perfect for celebrating Christmas!  I adore the red sparkles, and love the red rose!
These pajamas are sooo adorable and warm and cozy for the winter season, I really like the little boots!

Labels/Categories

Hey girls!
I'm adding something new to my blog called Labels (I'm calling it Categories though).  I'm using it to organize my posts!  I apologize though, I'm having some problems with Blogger and the link so please bear with me.
Thanks,
Hope
P.S. I'm also going to try to go back through my posts and put them in categories.  This is a long project so it might take a few weeks
P.P.S. Sorry for the late notice, but AG Dolly Sisters Weekly was not posted this week due to Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Hey girls!
I'm so excited it's Christmas!  It's always happy when the holidays roll around, and it's sad when they go :( But let us all remember the true meaning for the Christmas season--"the reason for the season" is Jesus! :D Happy birthday to Jesus! :)
Anyways, here's our photostory from Christmas morning:

"GIRLS!" cried Kit, waking everybody up except Molly (who was the early bird). "IT'S CHRISTMAS!"

Kit came running to the tree where presents lay underneath.  "OH MY GOODNESS!" cried Kit, "I got a gift card to a bookstore and a sports store!  AWESOME!"

Next Mal came running in, crying, "It's Christmas!  Happy birthday Jesus!"

"THE GUITAR!" cried Mal, "the guitar I wanted!!!  I've been wishing for this for forever...oh!  And the guitar books!"

Molly was the next to come in.  "My Christmas Dress!" she cried, "perfect!  My Christmas dress to celebrate Christmas, before it retires!"

Molly immediately put on the green dress, with white ruffles and crisp white buttons.

"I love it!"

Next came in Saige, who joyfully cried over her new sweater outfit, which she also tried on!

And of course Caroline, who got the winter poncho and headband she wanted!  Then came in Ruthie, who got the poetry and craft books she wanted, and then Sydney Lee got the new ballet shoes she wanted.
Then all the dolls gathered around the tree and sang happy birthday to Jesus, remembering why we celebrate Christmas, because of Jesus's birth.  Though the presents are fun because the Wise Men brought Jesus gifts, we have to remember the true reason for the season.
Here's some pictures of what I got:

Saige's Sweater Outfit--I simply adore it!  The pants were a bit of a struggle to get on, but other than that I love it!

A bottom view

And Saige's sandals

Next, Molly's Christmas Dress.  This is very cute, and really poofy!  I really like it! :)

A bottom view...

And of course, the guitar set and books

Here is the guitar, in it's case

The case opened

A closer look at the guitar.  I love the detail AG put into it!  You can even make it play a little by picking the strings.

I especially love the straps on the back of the case to carry the guitar.

And the two books--perfectly AG doll-sized and it even has pages of music, chords and theory inside! :)

Lastly, this cute little winter poncho (I think..) and headband.  You get this at AG for purchasing a certain amount of money.  I think it's really cute and very detailed!
Merry Christmas to all--and I got a big surprise this year!  Instead of getting a laptop, I got something else.  Can you guess what it was? :)
Merry Christmas!

GOTY 2014 Mini Doll *SPOILER ALERT*

Hey girls!
First of all, Merry Christmas!!  (post coming soon).  I was recently browsing through Doll Diaries, when I saw some pictures of the new GOTY 2014, Isabelle.  In this post I will include a link and my opinion on Isabelle.
Before clicking, please understand, if you do not want to see the Isabelle mini doll then do not click. ;)
Here's the link: http://dolldiaries.com/photos-of-mini-isabelle/

GOTY 2014's Collection *SPOILER ALERT*

Before reading this, may I warn you--*SPOILER ALERT*  If you do not want to know who or what GOTY 2014's collection is, please click off this post IMMEDIATELY.

Recently, Doll Diaries posted a YouTube video, which agoverseasfan made, which includes GOTY 2014, Isabelle's collection.  Here is the link to the video: http://dolldiaries.com/sneak-peek-goty-2014-isabelles-collection/ , or just click here.  I honestly think the prices are crazy, and apparently Isabelle is supposed to be $120 (we don't know if that is just the Canadian price, though, because it appeared the it was from a Canadian magazine).  I honestly think that price is crazy, because some people don't have that kind of money to spend on things, much less dolls.  But hopefully it was just a rumor or mistake, we'll just have to wait and see till January 1st. :)
What's your opinion on GOTY 2014, Isabelle, and the prices?

Deck the Halls...

Hey girls!  Kit here, and today was a festive day here!  We set up our Christmas Tree today! :) So here's what happened...

Molly and I came lugging the Christmas tree in, it was new and Mal had picked it out.

"Pink?" I sighed, "pink?  Does it have to be pink!?"  "Well, sorry," replied Mal, "it just goes great with the room tone, you know what I mean?"

"Just a little to the left, girls," said Mal, "a little bit more, to the right an inch, parfait!"  (OH by the way if you do not speak French 'parfait' means perfect in French).

The tree was set up, and everybody admired it.  It looked perfect!

"Ornaments!" cried Caroline.  "Ooooh!" said Mal, "très chic!  Those colors will look amazing on the tree!"

"Don't forget the tree skirt!" cried Saige, who proudly held up the white skirt.

Saige lifted the skirt under the tree, and positioned it to look nicely.

Next, the dolls began to hung the ornaments on the tree.  There were blue ornaments, gold ornaments, red ornaments--even green ornaments!
The girls stepped back to admire the tree-it looked wonderful!

"I love the tree!" cried Saige, and everyone agreed (except I was still wondering--why did we get a pink tree!?)
Merry (early) Christmas!

Kit

Day 12: Throw a Doll Christmas Party!

Hey girls!!  For the last day, I decided to give some ideas on throwing the perfect Doll Christmas party!
1. Invitations-Make some cute or fancy (whatever your style) invitations!  Hand them out to your dolls and include the date/time. :)
2. Decorations!-Of course, every festive party needs the perfect decorations!  Hang some ornaments and tinsel, put a doll tree up, and even hang the snowman hanging I showed how to make! :)
3. Food!-For food, use some of AG's Christmas food, but if you don't want to get that (or don't have it), local craft stores will have cute food erasers for only $1-$5!  The prices are great! :)
4. Dress Up!-Put your dolls in their Christmas or holiday outfits, and do their hair! ;) Use ribbons, bows and other "Christmas-y"
Well, that's all!  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve tomorrow! :) Keep checking back for a new blog post tonight!
How do your dolls celebrate?

Day 11: Watch a Christmas movie!

Snuggle up with your dolls and make some popcorn–it's time for a Christmas movie!  Choose an American Girl Christmas movie (Felicity, Samantha or Molly) and put your dolls in their pajamas!  Take pictures and post them online! :)
Sorry for the late & short post, been busy ;)

Day 10: Doll Christmas Present Ideas

Planning on giving each of your dolls a little gift, but don't want to spend $20 each?  Here are some doll present ideas! :)
1. Check Etsy Shops-Look online to find 18" doll items being sold, I recommend Etsy.  There are great prices, and you can get presents for good deals!
2. Make them!-Make your doll's presents!  Does your doll love books?  Make a book!  Does your doll love phones?  Make a mini iPhone for her (or an iPad)
3. Check a Dollar Store!-They have awesome items for only $0.50-$1.00!  You can find a bunch of cute items for your dolls!
Do you have any other ideas?  Leave a comment! :)

Dolly Sisters Weekly-12/20/13

Hey Dolly Sisters viewers!
It's Kit, and I'm happy to be (finally) writing a weekly AG Dolly Sisters, news report!  Anyways, here we go!
AG Dolly Sister Birthdays this Month:
December 1st-Kit's Birthday
December 25-Jesus's Birthday
Christmas is Almost Here!
I'm so excited, because CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE!  Mal has been super crazy about decorating, and she's been ordering us around like crazy!  Put up the Christmas tree, hang the red and green ornaments, make sure the pattern is popcorn, cranberry, cranberry, popcorn, don't eat the candy canes....ugh!  She's also been picking out the perfect Christmas Eve outfit for the party for DAYS.  I don't see why people pick their outfits out early, I just pick something right before it?!?  Anyways, we've had a lot going on.  Sydney Lee has been practicing for her Christmas recital, and Mal has been singing Last Christmas OVER AND OVER AND OVER for the Christmas concert.  That girl drives me crazy sometimes ^_^

Ruthie and I have been in charge with the food for our Christmas party, and Ruthie (she's good at baking!) made a great batch of cookies, but I ate them all, and Mal and Ruthie got super mad at me. -_- Saige is also super hyped up about the holidays, and she's been singing Christmas carols all over the house (but believe me, does that girl ever need singing lessons!) and she's been working on her latest painting (holiday-themed). I can't give anyway, but it's really good!

Well that's all for this week!
Your reporter and writer,
Kit

Day 9: Doll Christmas Lists (Part 2)

Hey girls!  Now it's time for Day 9!  Wow, December has gone so fast!  I can't believe it will soon be January (2014!!!) and in 2 months it will be my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!  I can't believe it! ;)  Anyways, back to the present! :)
For Part 2, you will need:
An AG magazine (that you don't mind cutting)
Your doll Christmas List
Tape
Scisscors

First, cut out of the magazine what your doll wants!

After you've cut it out, make sure it looks nice, then..

Put some tape on the back (but turn it over like that ^)

Then, stick them on your card, and write what your dolls want!
There you go! :) A simple, easy Doll Christmas List!
What do your dolls want for Christmas?
