AGDS: 2 Years Blogaversary!

So, a lot of you probably didn't even know this, but today, February 16th, AGDS is celebrating being 2 years old!  So, join our celebration! :D

I can't believe how long I've been on here. Time really flies.  It seems like just a few weeks ago that I was joining the AGFMB and creating my blog.  I've made so many awesome friends through American Girl, and even though there's been struggles, and I've taken breaks from this blog for way to long, I plan to keep posting and not take a break for more than 2 weeks, unless it's a serious issue.
This is seriously the longest I've ever kept a blog for.  Normally I just delete it a few months later, but I stuck with AGDS. 
Thank you everyone, for being so supportive and such an amazing group of girls!  I've been through so much and I wouldn't ever redo my decision to create this blog!  Even though I've taken many breaks, a lot of you have still stuck with me and that means so much to me.  I know everyone says this, but I'm telling the truth.
Thanks for your support!  I couldn't do it without you!

Ruthie's Birthday + Surprise Party
Ruthie's birthday (well, our Ruthie's) was on the 12th, so we threw a surprise party for her!  We combined it with the Valentine's Day party, and we all had tons of fun! :)

I hope you enjoyed our post about our party, and how to make the decorations!  It was so much fun, and Molly was the host of the Valentine's Day party.  Ruthie will be the host for the next party :P (for Saint Patrick's Day!)
President's Day
Some of you might not have even known today was President's Day!  Did anyone have school off?  We did!  Which gave us lots of time to work on posts for you guys! :D

AGDS Weekly-1/12/15

Hey everyone, it's Kit and welcome to the first official AGDS Weekly!  We did this several months/a year ago, and I'm excited to bring it back!
So, a lot has happened this past 2 weeks I'm excited to share with you!  :)
First of all, events this month:

So, onto this week of AGDS!
Mallory's Cousin
Mallory is really excited because her cousin Bella Thomas {Grace Thomas} is moving back to the United States from France this spring/summer.  {Meaning, Hope is going to get Grace!}
Holiday Highlights
We all had a great Christmas and New Year!  The day before Christmas Eve, one of Saige's friends had a big Christmas party.  It was really cool--I kinda got kicked out because I ate all the chips {oops}.  On Christmas Eve, we all slept in and made pancakes--I put red and green frosting on mine {some thought it was gross, but it's delicious :P!}  Then, we did all of our holiday traditions--listening to Christmas music, in our Christmas PJ's all day, looking at Christmas lights, watching Christmas movies, drinking hot chocolate and going to Christmas Eve service. 
Christmas Day was awesome as well!  We woke up, opened presents and hung out together the rest of the day.
On New Year's Eve, Mallory had an awesome party and we stayed up pretty late!  {past 12:00}
Overall, the holiday's were great!  How was everyone else's holidays?

AGDS is back! :)

Hey everyone!
Yes, AG Dolly Sisters is {finally} back!  After neglecting this blog for too long, I've finally decided to make a reappearance.
I've planned out my posting schedule for the entire month of January.  Some new "events" I guess you could say are going to be added on to the blog, so I'll explain them below! :)

First of all, my new header!  I really love this and I've been trying to make one for a long time, so I finally decided to edit one!  You can see it above!

Second off, a posting schedule.  These are the days I'll be posting.

I'm also introducing a new video series--Mallory Monday!  Every other Monday Mallory will post a new video for her online "blog series" Mallory Monday.  Mallory Monday is not really going to be a show or anything--more like video updates from Mal--fashion, makeup, doll DIY, tags--videos like that.  The Monday Mallory doesn't post her videos will be AGDS Weekly.

So that's all!  I made a Christmas Haul video, but it's having some technical difficulties so I might just take pictures and upload those!

Hey guys!
I know, long time no see.  I'm really sorry I haven't been posting on here, honestly, I've been so busy, I could hardly find the time to post this.
September is here, and school is back.  September/early October also means volleyball, and I have practices and games at least 3 times a week, it's been really crazy! And then I've been working on homework, projects on the weekend, still while practicing my piano & clarinet, I honestly have had no time at all to post.
Sounds like an excuse, but I mean it.  As volleyball season is ending, I will probably get back into posting in early/mid October.  I've also been busy planning my new AG video series, which should be premiering here in November or December. :)
Does anyone else agree September has completely flown by?
But, I'm working on posts, and after volleyball ends I will have more time during the week to work on posting! :)

{A few Updates}

Hey girls!
So, this week is going to be very busy, so I won't be posting very much.  I have a craft video ready to post (probably coming Wednesday), and another post still to work on, hopefully coming either Tuesday or Thursday.  Other then that, I will not be posting very much!

And also, please remember to follow!  Once I reach 50 followers, we are going to have an awesome giveaway! :)

And sorry for not posting yesterday, I spent half of the day shopping and the other half making a doll closet with a My Froggy Stuff tutorial.  :)

I just wanted to post a few updates real quick!
So first of all, I finally have made a contact form you guys can fill out.  You can just contact us, even if you don't have an email.  The link will be included in our Contact page, and it is totally safe and everything! ;) An email is optional when you fill the forms out, so don't feel as if you have to put your email!  Another thing, I do not appreciate spam mail.  Anything spam or hate I will immediately delete and block the IP, so please do not do that! :)  This is for positive, or letting me know something!
Another thing, do you think AGDS should get an Instagram?  Leave a comment below! :)
And also, my birthday is this week and I'm getting presents tomorrow!  Exciting, right? :)

Hope & the Dolls

The Audition Part 1

Hey girls!
Time for a new photo-story series!  I hope you enjoy it, Part 1 is kinda just an intro type of thing...but anyways here we go :)

Saige saw Mal, sitting in her bed and strumming on her guitar, singing to a song.  "What are you doing, Mal?" asked Saige.

"Oh, I'm practicing for this musical I'm auditioning for next Thursday.  The part is made for me--it's about a girl who moves to France and a musical and everything!"

"That sounds great!" said Saige, "but I've never seen you practice so much.  You've been in here for like 3 hours.  Is something up?"

"Well," said Mallory, "that's because I normally just get the part I audition for because acting is my thing--and I looove it!  But this girl named Emily who transferred from somewhere in Europe, who happens to speak French and specializes in singing, says she will audition.  But I need that part, it's meant for me!"

"See?" said Mal pointing to a France poster beside her bed, "I looove France!  And I can even speak French!"

"Well," said Saige, "I'm sure you'll get the part.  Your amazing at acting, and you've been acting since your four!  I'm sure you'll get it."

"Thanks," said Mal, setting the guitar aside and holding the iPad up, "see here?  She blogs for the school blog, and she just posted about auditions and she will audition for the main part."

"Don't worry," said Saige, "you'll do fine."

What do you think will happen?  Will Mal get the part?  Or will Emily?  Stay tuned for Part 2!

Update:

I am planning on remodeling my dolly room--giving Kit, Sydney Lee & Molly their own bedroom.  Ruthie, Mal, Caroline and Saige will stay here.

Holiday Highlights

Hey girls!  It's Kit, and sorry this is a day late, Meatloaf had to go to the vet yesterday and I took him. Anyways, we had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, and we hope you did, too!  Christmas was wonderful—we spent Christmas Eve baking cookies, singing Christmas carols, going to Mal's Christmas party and watching Christmas movies.  On Christmas Day we woke up, opened presents, had a big breakfast then talked about the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus.

For New Year's Eve, we stayed up till midnight and made popcorn (Saige got her hands on some Dr. Pepper-man was she hyper! o.O).  At midnight, we blew blow horns and threw confetti (which we had to clean up afterwards....).  On New Year's Day we made New Year's Resolutions (which will be posted soon)

It's a New Year!

It's finally 2014!  Be sure to check out our 2013 video!!  Now that the holidays are over, things wind down and there is not so much craziness.  How was your 2013?

Dolly Sisters Weekly-12/20/13

Hey Dolly Sisters viewers!
It's Kit, and I'm happy to be (finally) writing a weekly AG Dolly Sisters, news report!  Anyways, here we go!

Christmas is Almost Here!
I'm so excited, because CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE!  Mal has been super crazy about decorating, and she's been ordering us around like crazy!  Put up the Christmas tree, hang the red and green ornaments, make sure the pattern is popcorn, cranberry, cranberry, popcorn, don't eat the candy canes....ugh!  She's also been picking out the perfect Christmas Eve outfit for the party for DAYS.  I don't see why people pick their outfits out early, I just pick something right before it?!?  Anyways, we've had a lot going on.  Sydney Lee has been practicing for her Christmas recital, and Mal has been singing Last Christmas OVER AND OVER AND OVER for the Christmas concert.  That girl drives me crazy sometimes ^_^

Ruthie and I have been in charge with the food for our Christmas party, and Ruthie (she's good at baking!) made a great batch of cookies, but I ate them all, and Mal and Ruthie got super mad at me. -_- Saige is also super hyped up about the holidays, and she's been singing Christmas carols all over the house (but believe me, does that girl ever need singing lessons!) and she's been working on her latest painting (holiday-themed). I can't give anyway, but it's really good!

Hey girls!  Sorry I wasn't posting all weekend ;) I was busy, and my computer keeps freezing up!  I tried to post this earlier but it froze up! XD Soooo finally my post is here!

I got a Smart Girl's Guide to Starting Middle School!!  I got it on Wednesday (last Wednesday) I think, and I read it that night, it's really good! :)

My Future Doll's Personalitys...

Hey girls, I thought I'd share with you what my future dolls personality's are going to be like.

Cecile Rey.  Cecile is kinda going to be like Mal's partner drama queen, she's going to be a huuuuuge drama queen (like I said).  She's going to be extremley over-dramatic and super snobby.

Rebecca is going to be hilarious, talented and a funny actress.  She's going to loooove talking, and she's going to be extremley peppy.

Ivy is going to be shy, and a gymnastics freak. She's going to be a very talented gymnasts, and she wants world peace.  She also is going to love eating sushi and trying new things.

*Updates*

Hey girls, sorry I wasn't posting for the last week.  We drove up to Texas on Wednesday to see relatives, and between baseball games, the waterpark, seeing my aunt, and driving places--I was super busy!  And we didn't bring the laptop, so I just had my iPod Touch (which the pictures I take look bad quality on it).

I'm also sorry I haven't gotten your picture requests from American Girl Place Kansas City, my iPod Connector Cord (I took that, I hate taking my camera with me to places, I don't want it to get stolen, as an iPod is easier to hide), but it isn't working! -_- I have no idea why, and I keep trying....so yeah xD

I'm getting some more of Molly's collections!  I hope this doesn't sound like bragging, but I made a deal with my dad--long story...LOL.

Hey everyone....I know I'm soooooooo behind on posting.  I'm really sorry, summer's here--I'm not even going to use the same old excuse "I've been really busy," I just haven't got to it!  Today was busy for me though because I had to get alot of things done.
